Parent Participation
As a non-profit organization, community participation is a huge part of what helps us to operate. On top of our school gatherings, Burlington Little School asks that parents get involved through parent hours for the school year. These hours can be completed through work parties in the garden, time in the classroom, joining a committee, and more!

Join a Committee
Joining one of our amazing committees is another way to complete
parent hours. Committees are flexible and are a great way to meet other BLS families and get more involved in the BLS community.
As a nonprofit organization, Burlington Little School has a board of directors that works in partnership with the executive director to help further the growth of the program and community. Positions on the board are staffed on a volunteer basis by members of the BLS and surrounding community.
Join in on the fun
Partner with your child's teacher to create a fun learning experience. Parents can gain hours through class participation such as planning a simple activity, reading a book, or sharing your traditions, career, heritage, or cultural practices.
Classroom Purchases
Everyday items can always be used around the school and much appreciated. For example: playdoh supplies, facial tissues, or disinfectant wipes.
Teachers also create Wishlist for materials they would love to have in their rooms. You can purchase these things using the QR code below.
